India Sees Biggest Single-day Spike Of 38,902 Covid-19 Cases
Record single-day spike of 38,902 COVID-19 cases pushed India’s tally to 10,77,618 on Sunday.
The death toll in the country reached 26,816 with 543 new fatalities, the Union Health Ministry said.
This is the fourth consecutive day that the country has reported over 30,000 cases.
Active COVID-19 cases in the country stand at 3,73,379. So far, 6,77,422 people have recovered from the viral infection.
Maharashtra continues to have most number of cases among all states and UTs. The state’s COVID-19 cases crossed the 3 lakh-mark and reached 3,00,937 on Saturday with the addition of 8,348 new cases, state Health department said.
