Budgam: Unknown gunmen on Tuesday evening lobbed a grenade on police station in Budgam, official sources said.
However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Budgam told KNO that militants lobbed grenade towards police station Budgam, which exploded outside the gate.
He said that an alert santry fired upon the militants but they managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness.
The area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
