SRINAGAR: A dead body of a civilian was recovered by the people near encounter site in Bidoora Achabal area of Anantnag district on Monday. The encounter at Bidoora begun on Monday early morning and ended up with the killing of one militant, a major rank army officer and three soldiers were injured.
Local sources said that soon after locals spotted a dead body of a civilian near an encounter site. the body was recovered with bullet marks and he is said to be a tractor driver by profession. An eyewitness said that a spontaneous shutdown is being observed in the Achabal belt.
Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the case and further investigations are going on.
Earlier, a one militant and an army officer were killed in a day-long encounter in Bidoora area of Achabal on Monday.
