Three JKSPDC daily wage protesting employees fainted during hunger strike in Kangan

KANGAN: Three JKSPDC daily wagers working at Kangan Powerhouse were shifted to trauma hospital Kangan after they turned faint on the sixth day of their hunger strike.
Daily wagers working in PDC wing started their strike a month back across Valley.
We started hunger strike six days back after we failed to get our grievance resolved by launching more than a month long protest” President JKSPD Mr Ranjeet Singh told Valley Online over Phone.
We were demanding our long pending demand of regularisation but unfortunately our please hit the deef ears.
“on the first phase we abstain from our work and launched protest strike for more than one month, on second phase we went on hunger strike and now we are going to take extreme step on third phase if our demand will not be fulfilled. “Mushtaq Ahmad Shah vice president JKSPDC kangan told Valley Online.
“We send a team of doctors from hospital after we received a call from the employees” Superintendent trauma hospital Kangan Yasmin Kawoosa told Valley Online.
“Our team treated few of them there at the site and shifted three ill employees to hospital who are under observation” she added.
“All the three patients are under mental stress and are under observation in hospital ward ” a doctor at trauma hospital Kangan said while talking with Valley Online.
They were identified as Nazir Ahmad Teedwa of Kachnambal Kangan, Abdul Majeed Pakhtoon of Poshkar kangan and Nazir Ahmad Mir of Akhal kangan.
Meanwhile protesting employees have threatened to launch anger strike on Highways across state if their demands will not be fulfilled.
