Popular TV actress Reem Shaikh who is currently playing Marathi girl Kalyani Malhari Rane in Zee TV’s prime time show Tujhse Hain Raabta gets nostalgic about her last year’s Kashmir tour.
This pretty actress had come to Kashmir to shoot her first ever Bollywood film Gul Makai in which she plays the lead actress.
Here in this film she protrays the world famous youth Icon Malala Yousafzai.
The actress further talks about her shows success Tujhse Hain Raabta.
Honestly this show happened very quickly and all the things came into place in just one months time. It feels great that when your show is being appreciated by the audiences. It boost your confidence to work more harder then before.
Further she spoke that Kalyan character was not very difficult as she is today’s happy go lucky girl,”The character of Kalyani is very much similar to Reem as how I love my parents similarly Kalyani also loves her family as well. I am personally very happy go lucky, chirpy, basically she is today’s girl who is confident and loving. Personally I will definitely fall in love with Kalyani she is that cute but she is little sidelined.’
Working with co actors is always fun. Reem really bonds very well with her on screen love interest Malhar Rane.
Shesaid,”Oh yes..it’s always fun with my on screen husband played by Sehbhan Azim.
We bond really well on the sets, we share our lunch together. He really takes care of me very well. Even my on screen mother Anupriya played by PurvaGokhale. Its really great fun to work with her. She takes care of me like a baby.”
About the best scenes from the show she tells us, “It’s really very difficult to pick up best scene so far as every scene was different and had lot of character and filled with lots of emotions like anger and love of Kalyani for her loved ones, but she has picked up few of her best scenes,”
Further about the scenes she said “The most challenging scene came in Epsiode three which was a court scene in which Kalyani burst out at her step mother Anupriya that it’s you have taken the place of my mother and you canca be my mother. This scene had so much of anger and was quite an emotional drain. I had decided that I will give 100% to this scene. This scene will always be close to my heart. Another most important scene was when Malhar refuses to give name to the baby and then Kalyani who with full of anger said that if you really don’t want to give name to the baby then I will give my name and there is a powerful dialogue that, Mera aur Moksha Ka Raabta Kisi aur Ka mohtaach Nahi.. that scene was really powerful one. I feel the court scene and this one would be my favourite scenes till now.”
Last but not the least Reem still misses Kashmir, paradise on earth.
On 31st December Reem had posted some of her Kashmir snaps on social media.
She was quite nostalgic about her first ever Kashmir tour.
About her Kashmir experience the pretty actress told us that,”Oh yes… I do really miss the beauty of Kashmir and was nostalgic about my trip to paradise on earth. I still remember that on 31st night of 2017 I was packing my bags for my Kashmir scehdule and was quite excited that I will celebrate New Year 2018 in Kashmir..”
She totally misses the snow clad mountains and people of Kashmir,”What most I miss is Shikara ride and playing with Snow. It was most cold 20 days of my visit to Kashmir.
Kashmir and Gul Makai film would always be very close to my heart as it’s my dream come true to play the role of Malala Yousafzai.
Further about the hospitality of Kashmiri people she said,”They are really sweet, cooperative and very friendly. I heard that right now Kashmir is covered with white blanket I wish could go there again.”
