Quarantine Centre Chitternar Bandipora Inmates Complain Lack of Basic Amenities

BANDIPORA: The inmates of quarantine centre Established at Chiternaar Forest Area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora District on Sunday complained of pathetic conditions in Centre as they alleged lack of Basic amenities like Electricity, Boiled water an essential substance for quarantined people there.
Inmates told Valley Online there are more than a dozen people put in the quarantine centre and they are facing difficulties in communicating their dear one’s by way of Mobile phone’s which they are unable to charge as their is no Electricity.
They also said that the centre is located in the forest area where access of nearby neighboures is also impossible who could have helped them in serving boiled water for drinking and other purposes. Also, the inmates have appealed administration to provide them with essential ammenities as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Bandipora outrightly refuted the complaints of inmates when Valley Online contacted him and told that they all are safe, “Ofcourse wazwan is not served.”
