Pakherpora Gunfight: Private vehicle set ablaze, teenager received bullet injury
SRINAGAR: A private Tata Mobile vehicle was set ablaze by protesters at Pakherpora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district amid a fierce gun battle between militants and government forces.
Local sources said that angry protesters burned down the vehicle for allegedly ferrying army soldiers.
They said that a teenager boy sustained a bullet injury in his face.
He was identified as 15-year-old Sinar Ahmad Mir.
He was rushed to Community Health Centre Pakharpora where from he was referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Meanwhile, clashes between protesters and forces were going on in the area when this report was filled in.
