North Kashmir political activist injured during election rally last week succumbs
SRINAGAR: A political activist of north Kashmir’s Handwara who was injured critically after he fell from a moving vehicle near Bakhihaker last week succumbed to his injuries at SMHS hospital in Srinagar.
Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Mohammad Mir, a resident of Bhawan Watser, Rajwar suddenly fell off from a load carrier vehicle near Bakhihaker on April 9.
Mir suffered critical injuries and was immediately taken to district hospital Handwara in an unconscious state where from he was referred to SMHS hospital in Srinagar.
After battling for life for about seven days, he succumbed to injuries Tuesday morning.
