Major tragedy averted by Rastriya Rifels Camp in North Kashmir Village
BARAMULLA: Army’s Rastriya Rifles Mahura Camp averted a major tragedy when a high tension line fell on a regular supply line at Kandhrarwan Mohalla of village Muhura in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District, causing short circuit to whole area.
Sources said that “All sockets and wiring of houses burnt causing fire due to sudden increase in voltage”
Locals told that “We are thankful to army as they received the news about the incident in our Mohalla, they (Army) along with their firefighting equipments and medical aids rushed to our village and helped our locals in cutting off the main supply and supply to houses thus minimising the loss to the life and property”.
“We are around 60 households in this Mohalla, we all were affected, timely intervention of army have saved our lives as well as our property and also Medical assistance by doctor of Army camp was given to us.” they added
“The short circuit had set Kandharwan mohalla in dark due to which we affected , We are very thankful to Army especially to Mahura Camp who provided us food and medical assistance.” Locals added.
Meanwhile The Commanding Officer and team interacted with locals and assured them of all assistance.
