Khunmoh Industrial Estate demands wave off demand charges as per rehabilitation package
SRINAGAR: A Delegation of unit holders from khunmoh Industrial estate led by president nominee Imran Murtaza has requested Chief Engineer PDD to waive off the demand charges as per rehabilitation package announced by LT. Governor for revival of industrial activity.
“They demanded charges have been pilled since last year and as already communicated by authority to provide respite to ailing industrial activity which is dire need of such relief” Imran told Valley Online over phone.
He said that “Revival package which was announced earlier this month have been eagerly waited by all sectors of commerce”.
Unit holders said that It will surely give respite and liquidity to market and many borrowers are verge on collapse and it will surely help them to keep there accounts standard.
They said that later this month, Government had announced package of 5 percent interest waiver for 6 month which will incur 950 crore expenses to expenditure.
Apart from that release of pending payment of 2014-2016 rehabilitation package will be also done.
Imran Murtaza in its statement said ” this is surely reflect in bank accounts of borrower before closing, as most of accounts in valley are under tremendous stress, this will surely help a borrower.
