VO: What’s the best compliment you have got for this role?
MV: ”The best compliment which I have got would be is the metamorphosis of the character…the transformation I have done for this character which in real life I am completely opposite.People are talking about the transformation..the way I have created this character of Najma in a way which was very difficult and I am glad audiences are loving this character.
VO: How different was this character from Rasia of Bhajrangi Bhaijaan?
MV: ”The whole set up was different in both the films… the story.. frame of mind in both the characters are not the same. Here in this film, Najma trying level her best to be optimistic about her life and also she is tolerating all the shit in the form of domestic violence from her husband for her child… who has a dream. The whole character of Najma is different from Rasia.
VO: Is Meher and Najma same?
MV: Not at all…I am totally opposite and it was very difficult for me to get into the skin of the character. Mentally it was huge change.. In real life I am not that optimistic, not calm and would never take domestic violence. I am very hyper in the real the director had to make me calm on the set to control the graph of the character that’s the very difficult part.
