Ganderbal Police organises Soccer League at Manasbal
GANDERBAL: In its drive to build a connection with the youth of the district Ganderbal, today Ganderbal police Organized the opening match of Manasbal soccer league, 2017.
The event held in the grounds of Sainik school, Manasbal was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, Sh Piyush Singla IAS and Senior Suprintendent of Police, Ganderbal, Sh Fayaz Ahmed Lone KPS.
“It is note worthy that Ganderbal police recently granted amnesty to 176 youth of the district involved in STONE PELTING cases in the unrest of 2016 and 2017” a top Police Official told Valley Online.
“Building upon its message for youth to come forward and invest their energies in productive activities, a soccer tournament is being organised by Ganderbal police” he added.
According to a press note from Police department Eight teams participated in “Manasbal Soccer league 2017”, FC LAR and FC SAFAPORA played opening ceremony match.
ASP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Hussain, ASP Head Quarter Shri Utkarsh Duggal IPS, DySP Ganderbal Shri Ashaq Hussain KPS, Principal Sainik school Manasbal Shri Nazir Ahmad and other police officers were present on the occasion.
