DDC Ganderbal conducts public outreach camp at Sehpora, Wakura
GANDERBAL:District Development Commissioner Ganderbal Hashmat Ali Khan today chaired a day long public grievance camp at Sehpora and Wakura areas of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday where he listened to the public grievances.
These camps were attended by ADDC, ADC, ASP Ganderbal, Executive engineers of PDD, PHE, PMGSY and I&FC besides other officers of the district and marked the participation of huge number of people of the adjoining areas.
During these camps, DDC interacted with the public and heard their grievances and redressed numerous issues on the spot and directed the concerned to resolve the other public issues immediately.
The public representatives on the occasion apprised the DDC about various issues relating to macadamization of roads, electricity, schools, water supply, healthcare facilities and agriculture, besides demand for play fields in their respective areas.
Moreover, other demands that were raised during the camp includes upgradation of Shalabugh and Sheerpathri High School, mobile connectivity issue in Hatbura, establishment of Tehsil level office, up-gradation of PHC, special attention to Horticulture and Sheep Husbandry, creation of Degree College at Wakura, promotion of Handicrafts Sector in Wakura, preservation of Natural Springs, desilting and dredging of irrigation khuls and other demands of public importance.
Responding to the demands of the locals, the DDC instructed the concerned to ensure quick response to the public grievances and co-ordinated approach in implementation of the schemes besides speed up developmental works of their respective departments in area.
