SRINAGAR: Four civilians were injured in a grenade blast in Jehangir chowk of Srinagar the summer Capital of J&K on Thursday, police said.
An official said that the grenade was lobbed at Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers deployed in the area but it missed the target and exploded on road injuring four civilians.
Eyewitnesses said that the explosion spread terror in the area and people were seen running for lives.
