BIJBEHARA : A complete shutdown is being observed in south Kashmir’s Bijbehara town to observe the first anniversary of Amir Latoo, sources said.
Amir was killed in force’s action in Bijbehara last year.
Amir Nazir Latoo succumbed during the night at SMHS hospital after doctors struggled for several hours to save his life.
Amir hit by a bullet in his chest, he was operated multiple timesby doctors and many people donated blood after doctors sent an urgent message.
Amir was pursuing LLB at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). He had come to his home to celebrate Eid with his family when he was killed at the hands of the men in uniform.
Kashmir valley erupted after the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani in an encounter on 08 July 16, Friday evening.
Whilethe government imposed curfew in all the major towns and villages of Kashmir, people took to streets in large numbers.
