Restrictions to be imposed in Srinagar areas Tomorrow
SRINAGAR: The district administration has decided to impose restrictions in Srinagar areas in view of shutdown called by the Joint Resistance Leadership.
An official in the district administration said that the restrictions under section 144 CrPc will be imposed in Srinagar areas falling under the jurisdiction of nine police stations “as a precautionary measure”.
He said restrictions will be imposed under the territorial jurisdiction of Rainawari, Nowhatta, Khanyar, M R Gunj, Safa Kadal and Maisuma.
He said partial restrictions will be imposed in territorial jurisdiction of Kralkhud, Kothibagh and Ram Munshibagh police stations.
Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has called for a complete shutdown on Sunday to protest human rights violations in Kashmir.
JRL will also march towards the UN office in Sonawar on the international day of human rights.
